West Virginia guard Miles “Deuce” McBride has decided to remain in the 2021 NBA Draft class, officially bringing his career as a Mountaineer to a close, according to a late evening report from WV MetroNews’ Greg Carey.
Deuce informed Bob Huggins of his decision Friday evening, forgoing his NCAA eligibility. McBride’s draft stock rose considerably with his performance at the NBA Combine in June, positioning the Cincinnati, Ohio native for a late first round pick later this month.
McBride averaged 15.9 points, 4.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds over 29 games last season, landing him an All-Big 12 Conference second-team selection as a sophomore.
