There are many reasons West Virginia baseball is doing well this 2017 season. A 22-13 record and winning every conference series they’ve played has put the Mountaineers on postseason radars and landed them tied for second in the Big 12.
I could point to the aggressive base running, reliable starting pitching, or the overall belief the team has had since the end of April 2016. However, I’m going to highlight one player right now.
Jackson Cramer has been doing the little things to keep the offense moving. He might not be setting records, but his power numbers this season are consistently in the top six of the conference.
