After signing a pretty impactful deal earlier this month, former WVU offensive lineman Colton McKivitz is now tied to the San Francisco 49ers for a few more seasons. And he has been proving he's worth the extended contract.
On September 8, McKivitz signed a three-year, $45 million extension with the 49ers after the first game of the season, allowing San Francisco to lock up their starting right tackle. The former WVU Mountaineer is in his sixth season in the NFL after being drafted in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the 49ers, and has been a critical piece of the team's offensive line.
