MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With nineteen wins and an NCAA Tournament appearance in his freshman campaign last winter, Independence High School grad Noah Adams authored a strong opening season to his WVU wrestler career.
In his redshirt freshman season, Adams posted a 19-15 record and was seeded 20th in the NCAA Tournament, winning one match at nationals.
“It was definitely the biggest tournament I had wrestled in,” Adams said. It was not like anything I had done before. I think it was a great experience for me last year to get there and see what it is like.
