The Associated Press has been ranking college football teams since 1936, and earlier this week the long-time media organization revealed its all-time, top-100 ranked programs on the 80th anniversary of the releasing of the first poll way back in the fall of 1936.
The formula for the AP all-time top 100 is comprised of individual poll appearances (one point), No. 1 rankings (two points) and AP championships (10 points).
