According to a report from Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports, Troy Trojans head coach Neal Brown will hired by West Virginia to replace newly-introduced Houston Cougars head coach Dana Holgorsen.
Brown interviewed with West Virginia on Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky, which is about an hour away from his hometown of Danville.
Stadium’s Brett McMurphy is reporting Brown has agreed to the terms of a 6-year contract with the Mountaineers. The details of that contract have not been disclosed.
Brown was named head coach at Troy following former Trojan head coach Larry Blakeney’s retirement in 2014.
