Black, St. Georges Collect Academic Honor

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Defenders Carly Black and Bianca St. Georges of the No. 1-ranked West Virginia University women’s soccer team were named to the 2016 Academic All-District 2 Women’s Soccer Team today, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The honor is the third career award for Black and the first for St. Georges. The WVU women’s soccer program has had two or more honorees in each of the last four seasons.

The duo advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballots, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honors will be selected in the coming weeks.
