WVU fans who are also alcohol connoisseurs should be excited – because another WVU athletics branded beer is on the way.
Elkins, W.Va-based Big Timber Brewing has officially announced that they worked with the university to release an officially licensed craft beer representing WVU. The product will be known as “Mountain Beer” and will be a pale ale at 4.5% ABV. Mountain Beer will be released to the public for the first time on Friday, August 1 during a launch party at Mountain Mama’s in Morgantown, W.Va that is scheduled from 5:30 PM EST to 7:30 PM EST.
