A couple of weeks after coming in at number five in the TBT Power Rankings, Best Virginia was given the ten seed in the COVID-19 altered version of The Basketball Tournament, missing out on a first round bye and setting the squad up for a first round match up on July 5th with the Elmore Brothers and Marshall’s alumni team Herd That.
The path won’t get easier after that, as Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team will be waiting for the Mountaineer alumni in the second round, assuming a win over the Herd alumni.
