Baylor women rout West Virginia, 79-47

Kalani Brown scored 17 points, Lauren Cox added 13 and the Bears’ backups also reached double figures during a 79-47 blowout Sunday.

Freshmen NaLyssa Smith had 11 points and Queen Egbo scored 10 as Baylor (15-1, 5-0 Big 12) won its 30th consecutive win at the Ferrell Center.

“We knew exactly what they were going to run. We couldn’t stop it,” said West Virginia coach Mike Carey. “They just keep coming at you in the paint.
