Babic Strong in Day Two of Championship

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A ninth-place showing by West Virginia University freshman Milica Babic highlighted the second day of the 2016 USA Shooting Winter Air Gun Championships, today, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Babic earned her finish with a 414.5 mark in the women’s 10m air rifle competition. The score also was good enough for ninth place in the junior division.

Junior Elizabeth Gratz followed Babic with a 411.5 score and finished 27th in the open competition and 18th in the junior division. Additionally, freshman Morgan Phillips placed 33rd overall and 23rd in the junior competition with a 410.
