Andres-Llop lifts WVU late at George Mason

FAIRFAX, Va. – Sophomore Albert Andres-Llop tied the match late in regulation and scored the game-winner in overtime to lead No. 19 West Virginia to a 3-2 win at George Mason on Saturday night in men’s soccer.

Andres-Llop tied the game at 2-2 with 99 seconds remaining in the match before scoring the game-winner 97 seconds into overtime. His golden goal came from 20 yards out on a free kick into the bottom left corner of the net.

The goals were his second and third of the season after he scored only one as a freshman.
