Allison reverses course on juco, commits to WVU instead.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Within the span of a frenzied couple hours Tuesday, former Miami blue-chip quarterback Jack Allison was bound for junior college and then committed to West Virginia.

A four-star prospect in the class of 2016, Allison announced via Twitter he was transferring to WVU, which came on the heels of a tweet from Juco Football Fever reporting that Allison had decided to spend 2017 at Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College.

As it turns out, Allison plans to be in Morgantown this season, sitting out the NCAA-mandated transfer season before beginning his final three years of eligibility in 2018.
