MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Entering his second season as West Virginia’s defensive coordinator, Vic Koenning has twelve game films and a pair of spring practice tapes to assess a large group of returning players.
Koenning is making clear those veterans know that a pack of newcomers will be competing for snaps whenever the team is able to reconvene for preseason practice.
“That has been the big thing when you go and recruit guys, you expect them to come in and play,” Koenning said.
