WVU football head coach Rich Rodrigues has dipped into the JUCO level to find latest wide receiver commitment.
JUCO wide receiver Keon Hutchins announced his commitment to the Mountaineers on Tuesday. The 6’2”, 170-pound receiver is a three-star recruit from Northwest Mississippi Community College, according to 247Sports. Hutchins is the sixth-ranked wide receiver recruit in JUCO and the 35th-ranked JUCO recruit in the country.
Holding 18 offers, the JUCO product chose WVU over other schools such as Appalachian State, FIU, FAU, Liberty, and North Texas.
Hutchins will join several wide receiver recruits from the high school level, including three-star Robert Oliver and West Virginia’s own three-star Malachi Thompson, who is a receiver from Nitro High School in Nitro, West Virginia.
