The WVU baseball team announced the 2018 season schedule, which features a healthy non-conference schedule. The Mountaineers will open their season Friday, February 16 with a three-game series at Jacksonville and open conference play on Friday, March 23 at Oklahoma.
Last season, the Mountaineers made the NCAA tournament for the first time in 11 years. Now, WVU will look to improve on their 36-26 record and advance past the regional round.
WVU will make two trips to the Atlantic Coast to open the season, following the first weekend in Jacksonville, Florida, with a trip to Conway, South Carolina, for the Brittain Resorts Invitational, February 23-25.
