2016 WVU Football Summer Preview: TCU Is Still Loaded Despite Losing A Ton Of Talent To The NFL

The TCU Horned Frogs will be the sixth opponent of the 2016 season for the Mountaineers. Let’s break down what to expect from Gary Patterson’s team.

The TCU Horned Frogs will visit Milan Puskar Stadium on October 22 in what should be an evenly matched contest. TCU has a two-game winning streak against the Mountaineers and hold a 3-2 lead in the all-time series.

In 2015, TCU destroyed the Mountaineers in Fort Worth 40-10 on the heels of a big game from Trevone Boykin. The Horned Frogs’ quarterback threw for 389 yards and three touchdowns and added 84 yards rushing on the ground while hitting his favorite wide receiver Josh Doctson 12 times for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
