“We’re excited about the schedule,” said coach Sean Cleary. “Early on, we’ll see the courses that we’ll run the championship portion of our season on. Each meet winds up in terms of importance to the girls and that’s how we try to set up our schedule. Each one gets a little bit more pressure-filled and a little bit more important. We like to start slow and easy and work our way into it.”
The Mountaineers open the season at home with the WVU Alumni Open on Thursday, September 1.
“We’ll have a fun opener with the alumni meet,” said Cleary.
