WVU Mountaineers: The Weekend Menu

The Mountaineers will be in action all across America this weekend, and here's a preview of what's for dinner.

Appetizer- Can you say Aloha? That's right, the Mountaineer women's basketball team is in sunny Hawaii for the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Mike Carey's team has a full slat this weekend with their first game of the tournament on Friday night against Ole Miss at 9:30 p.m. The Mountaineers will then face off with Washington State at 5 p.m. Saturday, and then close out the tournament against Hawaii at 10 p.m. on Sunday before making the trip back to wintery Morgantown. All times are eastern standard time.

Main Course- The Mountaineer football team travels to face the Kansas Jayhawks this weekend. While the matchup is not that exciting, the game could determine if WVU makes a bowl game. If the 2-7 Jayhawks manage an upset, it could get ugly in Morgantown.

Dessert- The WVU men's basketball team will return to action Sunday at the WVU Coliseum against Duquesne. Last season, the Dukes upset the Mountaineers in Pittsburgh at the Consol Energy Center. Bob Huggins' ball club is coming off a disappointing loss to Virginia Tech. It's time to bounce back with a home win against Duquesne.
