West Ham United could face a battle to keep wonderkid Declan Rice after the club offered him a paltry new contract.

At just 19, he’s proving he’s not just one for the future but a key player right now, however, in contract talks with the club he was offered just £8,000, report the Daily Mail.
It’s an improvement on his current £3,000-a-week deal but well short of what a number of underperforming Hammers stars are on at the London Stadium.
