West Ham supporters banned from first Europa League away match by UEFA over fan behaviour in Europa Conference League final victory

West Ham supporters will be banned from attending their first Europa League away match next season after the club were sanctioned by UEFA over fan behaviour in the Europa Conference League final.

The Hammers were charged by UEFA earlier this month over incidents during their 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the final in Prague.

Cristiano Biraghi, the Serie A side's captain, sustained a cut head after being hit by one of several plastic cups hurled at him from the end containing West Ham supporters as he went to take a first-half corner.
