West Ham hand new three-year deal to teenage midfielder Freddie Potts as the 19-year-old continues the family legacy following his father and brother's spells with the club

West Ham have announced that midfielder Freddie Potts has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

Potts joined the club at the age of six and worked his way through the Hammers academy before making his first-team debut in December 2021 as a substitute in the 1-0 loss against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Europa League.

Last season Potts appeared twice for David Moyes's men, both on route to the East London club's Europa Conference League triumph, firstly in the group-stage victory at FCSB and then the round of 16 second-leg win over AEK Larnaca.
