West Ham are finalising an £18million deal for Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
The Hammers switched sights to the 25-year old Denmark Under-21 international after failing to agree on a deal for Botafogo's John Victor.
The deal is understood to include a further £5m in add ons for Hermansen who was one of Leicester's best performers last season despite their relegation.
West Ham had also enquired about Werder Bremen's Michael Zetterer and Zion Suzuki of Parma but Hermansen was their preferred choice.
He is now expected to undergo a medical ahead of signing his contract.
