West Ham gave Carlos Bacca 'no reason' to leave AC Milan this summer, according to his agent.

The Hammers tried desperately to land new strikers before the close of the window and Colombian Bacca was high on their wish list.

However, he decided to snub West Ham in order to stay and fight for his place at the San Siro.

Since turning down a move to east London, the 30-year-old has scored six goals in 10 Serie A outings and his agent says he is happy in Italy.

Sergio Barila told El Haraldo: "There were various clubs interested, but what Carlos prioritised was the football aspect and the best for his family, not the financial.
