West Ham are fearing the worst after being dealt another injury blow over defender Ryan Fredericks.
Right-back Fredericks is due to see a specialist in the next few days for further assessment on the shoulder injury he suffered against Manchester City in midweek.
The 27 year-old was forced after an hour following a clash with City midfielder Rodri which left him with significant ligament damage.
The specialists will now help determine whether Fredericks requires an operation or will be able to recover from the injury with rest alone.
