West Ham are continuing discussions over a proposed move for Fulham winger Adama Traore.
The powerful 29-year-old has worked with manager Nuno Espirito Santos previously at Wolves and was wanted by him at Nottingham Forest.
Traore is out of contract in the summer so Fulham are ready to cash in now to gain a nominal fee.
West Ham's prime objective is to bring in a number nine with Niclas Fullkrug edging towards a move to AC Milan.
As previously reported by Daily Mail Sport, the Italians have proposed a loan with option to buy Fullkrug for around £14m which has still to be accepted but the Germany international is keen on the move.
