West Ham 3-0 Sheffield United: David Moyes' Hammers go above champions Liverpool into FOURTH after Declan Rice's scores from the penalty spot before Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks condemn Chris Wilder's Blades to yet another defeat

All Declan Rice had to do, it turns out, was ask for a penalty.

Just a week after taking to social media to bemoan the fact West Ham had not been awarded a spot-kick all season they got two in 45 minutes.

The first ended up being overturned but Sheffield United seemed determined to help the hosts end their long wait.

Declan Rice opened the scoring from the penalty spot as West ham beat Sheffield United 3-0

And not long after they were awarded another which captain Rice converted - his first ever penalty - to set West Ham on their way to victory which lifted them up to fourth, relegating champions Liverpool to fifth in the process.
