West Ham 2-0 Bournemouth: Hammers shoot up to 10th from 17th as TWO handball decisions go against visitors... with Kurt Zouma's opener allowed to stand before VAR awarded penalty against Jordan Zemura which Said Benrahma converted

West Ham distanced themselves from the Premier League relegation zone as David Moyes' side found a way past a resilient Bournemouth at the London Stadium.

Kurt Zouma's desperate strike on the stroke of half-time gave the hosts a deserved lead as the centre-back scrambled an effort over the line from a corner.

VAR intervened as Thilo Kehrer was shown to handle the ball in the build-up to the goal but the goal stood as Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil was shown a yellow card for berating officials.

The visitors were undone by early injuries as star striker Dominic Solanke was subbed off in the first-half and Brazilian goalkeeper Neto failed to emerge following half-time after appearing to pull his hamstring.
