West Ham 1-1 Burnley: Tomas Soucek rescues Hammers with late equaliser after Wout Weghorst opener and Maxwel Cornet's missed penalty... but game is overshadowed by horrific Ashley Westwood injury

West Ham were left frustrated by Burnley after being held to a 1-1 draw by the Premier League strugglers in their bid to finish to land European football next term.

The Hammers, who advanced into the Europa League semi-finals midweek, fell behind in the first half thanks to a Wout Weghorst header for the managerless visitors.

But the Clarets, playing their first match since the sacking of Sean Dyche, blew a golden opportunity to double their lead when Maxwel Cornet missed from the penalty spot after being brought down by Lukasz Fabianski
