West Ham 1-1 Bournemouth: Substitute Javier Hernandez spares Hammers blushes after Cherries winger Ryan Fraser put Eddie Howe's side ahead

West Ham and David Moyes have Javier Hernandez to thank as the Mexican showed his striker's instinct to ensure the Hammers draw 1-1 with Eddie Howe's Bournemouth.

Hernandez has found himself out of favour in east London since the arrival of Moyes - who also isolated him at Manchester United - but he was in the right place at the right time as one minute and nine seconds after Ryan Fraser opened the scoring, he hauled West Ham level.

On 71 minutes, Bournemouth's Scottish winger Fraser looked to have grabbed the crucial first goal in a game that offered so little until he broke the deadlock, firing past Adrian with his left-foot.
