Michael Antonio headed in a winning goal following Harry Arter's sending off to give West Ham a win in their first Premier League game at the Olympic Stadium.
The first-half at the Olympic Stadium was tense, with neither side willing to push too far forward and open up at the back. The pattern of play continued into the second period - it took until Gokhan Tore cut in on his left-boot after the hour for either side to have a clear cut chance.
It was not an ideal Premier League debut for the Olympic Stadium, although West Ham were given an opportunity to win the tie after Bournemouth went down to 10 men.
