West Ham 0-2 Leicester City: James Maddison strikes first before being subbed off injured at the London Stadium as pressure continues to grow on Hammers boss David Moyes following latest home defeat

James Maddison opened the scoring with a brilliant left-footed strike as he reacted quickest to striker Patson Daka' attempt. But that would be the end of the playmaker's involvement against West Ham.

Maddison went down clutching his knee less than 20 minutes later after going down of his own accord off the ball and was forced to retire from proceedings.

His injury leaves England boss Gareth Southgate nervously waiting on a fitness update as he is faced with the decision of having to make last-minute changes to the Three Lions' World Cup squad.
