Vinnie Jones has slammed West Ham for their James Collins email shame, telling talkSPORT: ‘It’s the lowest thing I’ve ever heard’.
It was revealed by talkSPORT sources on Saturday that Welsh defender Collins had been told he was being released by the club, after 11 years or service, via email.
Collins – affectionately known as ‘Ginge’ to fans – played what proved to be his final West Ham game last weekend in their 3-1 final day victory over Everton, and was seen in tears as he left the pitch.
