Burnley boss Sean Dyche has said he expects James Tarkowski to remain at the club past the October 5 transfer deadline.
The 27-year-old centre-back has been the subject of interest from both Leicester and West Ham during the transfer window.
Both clubs however have struggled to meet Burnley's valuation of the player which is believed to be around £50m.

Dyche told Sky Sports: 'He (Tarkowski) is an important player to us, he's a very good player.
