Thomas Tuchel has warned his Chelsea players they cannot drop ‘one per cent’ if they have any ambitions of fighting for the Premier League title next season.
The Blues strengthened their grip on a top-four finish with a 1-0 win at West Ham to leave them three points above the Hammers in the Champions League places.
Chelsea’s rise since Tuchel took charge has been outstanding with the German coach leading the club into the FA Cup final, the Champions League semi-finals and fourth place in the table.
However, the expectation is for Chelsea to be competing with Manchester City for the Premier League title next term, and for Tuchel this means there can be no let up in the demands.
