Snow problem for Manchester City as they hold off late West Ham fightback (and the freezing weather) to draw level with Chelsea at the top thanks to Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho strikes

There are a few grounds in the top half where anxiety might have enveloped the atmosphere in much the same way as the snow. West Ham were by no means out of this until the final moments. And West Ham are tricky customers.

But this place does not really do nerves. Manchester City only led by one until the final minute, before Fernandinho had sauntered on to wrap this up, but they kept the ball and then kept the ball a bit more.

They should have scored more but restricted their progressive visitors to a solitary shot – Declan Rice from 30 yards – from the 28th minute until Manuel Lanzini's stoppage-time consolation.
