West Ham are in talks to add Lazio forward Taty Castellanos for £25million on the back of agreeing to sign Gil Vicente striker Pablo Felipe for £21m.
The Hammers made their move for Castellanos after being quoted £40m for Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen and discovering Crystal Palace's Eddie Nketiah had picked up a hamstring injury.
Argentine Castellanos, 27, also had interest from Flamengo and Leeds but is keen on a move to London and is discussing a four-year deal.
West Ham also remain in discussions to sign Fulhamwinger Adama Troare on a short-term deal and have discussed a loan for Chelsea'sRaheem Sterling, but the 31-year-old only wants a permanent move.
