Ajax star Sebastien Haller has hit out at what he believes is a widespread disrespect in football for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The former West Ham man is one of the many stars across Europe's top divisions who will be heading to Cameroon next month for the showpiece tournament, when he joins up with the Ivory Coast squad.
But with many players being forced to leave their clubs at a pivotal part of the season, in-form Haller reacted strongly when asked by Dutch media whether he would be choosing to answer the call of his country.
