Ruben Amorim insists he is 'FAR from quitting' Man United after suggesting he could leave role as boss if results don't improve next season

Ruben Amorim insisted he is 'far from quitting' Manchester United after plunging his long-term future at the club into doubt over the weekend.

After Sunday's 2-0 defeat by West Ham, Manchester United's 17th league defeat of the season, Amorim suggested he may need to leave if he cannot get a tune out of his underperforming players soon.

But speaking at Old Trafford on Wednesday afternoon, Amorim looked to ease supporters' fears by insisting he has no plans to pack his bags just yet.

'Since I arrived here I am always talking about the standards and I cannot see the team having these results, especially in the Premier League, and not say nothing, not take responsibility,' he said.
