Pep Guardiola will battle it out with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and others for the Premier League Manager of the Year Award after both Manchester-based bosses were shortlisted for the prize.

Spanish boss Guardiola sealed his third and City's fifth Premier League title in comfortable fashion this season, with Solskjaer leading his United side to second in the table.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers, West Ham's David Moyes and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa were the three other names on the five-person shortlist announced on Tuesday.

Guardiola was recently named as the League Managers' Association (LMA) Manager of the Season - the second time he has won the award since moving to England in 2016.
