West Ham have been dealt a blow in their pursuit for Jesse Lingard after Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke of his desire of keeping the in-form midfielder next season.
Lingard has been reinvigorated at West Ham since joining the club on loan until the end of the campaign in January.
The 28-year-old has scored eight goals and provided three assists in just nine Premier League games for the fourth-placed Hammers as they seek Champions League qualification.
His incredible form at the London Stadium has seen him recalled to the England fold and is now firmly in the hunt for a place in Gareth Southgate's squad this summer.
