Marko Arnautovic denies pointed goal celebration was motivated by Mark Hughes feud: 'I don’t care what he says – I perform on the pitch'

Marko Arnautovic responded to claims that his vociferous goal celebration against Southampton was directed at Mark Hughes.

The West Ham forward netted twice in his side's crucial 3-0 win at London Stadium and seemed to direct his huge celebrations towards his former Stoke boss by running towards the technical area and shouting.

The pair had been involved in an unsavoury incident earlier in the season when Hughes accused Arnautovic of winding up the crowd after he scored against Stoke.
