Though now sporting director, Mark Noble is still the sheriff of West Ham, most recently solving the case of the mysteriously smashed television screen in the Under 18s changing room.

Noble gave the boys 24 hours to fess up. Within 10 minutes, the culprit came forward. Turns out they were playing cricket when this lad’s left-handed bowling blunder broke the TV used by Kevin Keen to show tactical clips, including of Arsenal, tonight’s FA Youth Cup final opponents.

Prior to this interview, Noble received a WhatsApp from the player in question, name redacted to not embarrass him.
