Mario Gotze is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer with the German wanting to take on a new challenge.

The 27-year-old's contract is set to expire on June 30 and, according to Sport Bild, an extension is 'impossible'.

This means the midfielder will be looking for a new club and there could be several suitors across the European leagues.

Everton and West Ham have been mentioned as possible destinations according to the report but the World Cup winner is currently earning around £9million a year at Dortmund.
