'I was just coming to say sorry gaffer!': West Ham's Kevin Nolan reveals training ground bust up with Sam Allardyce during his time at Bolton

Former Bolton and West Ham striker Kevin Nolan recalls the time where he was pinned to the wall by a Sam Allardyce.

Nolan came through the Bolton academy and established himself as a club legend during his 12 year spell with the club.

He would go on to take the captain's armband off Jay-Jay Okocha and made 345 appearances in all competitions for the side.

In 1999, Sam Allardyce was appointed as the club's manager, taking over from Colin Todd - who resigned in protest at the sale of Per Frandsen.
