David Moyes insists his injury-hit West Ham side deserved more from their FA Cup fifth round clash at Old Trafford, and should have at least taken Manchester United to penalties.
A Scott McTominay goal in extra-time was enough to separate the two sides, following a lacklustre match in which neither team dominated the other.
Speaking after the final whistle, Moyes praised his men while revealing that injuries had been sustained.
That was really hard to take because the players played brilliantly well, Moyes told BBC Sport following his side's narrow defeat.
