Chaos at London Stadium as furious West Ham fans invade pitch with one wrestled to the ground by Mark Noble and another plants corner flag in centre circle in protest against owners Gold and Sullivan

West Ham's match against Burnley descended into shame and chaos on Saturday afternoon as captain Mark Noble clashed with a pitch invader and supporters battled with stewards aid rising supporter unrest.

West Ham fell 1-0 down in the second-half when Ashley Barnes opened the scoring and it was the cue for chaotic scenes to develop at the London Stadium.

A West Ham supporter broke onto the field and as he evaded security officials, Noble confronted the fan and appeared to throw him to the ground. He was then restrained by team-mates and the referee Lee Mason.
