Carlos Tevez 'edging closer to MLS move eight months after leaving Boca Juniors... with DC United in talks over deal for ex-Manchester City striker'

Former Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham striker Carlos Tevez is reportedly in talks to join MLS side D.C. United.

The 38-year-old has been without a club since leaving boyhood club Boca Juniors but he could return to the pitch in the near future.

According to a source close to The Athletic, the chances of Tevez joining D.C. United are at '25 percent', with the deal dependent on a financial agreement.

Carlos Tevez left boyhood club Boca Juniors last summer and could now join the MLS

If the move does go through, Tevez would become the MLS club's first big name signing since Wayne Rooney joined from Manchester United in 2018.
