BREAKING NEWSTottenham confirm £55m signing of Mohammed Kudus from rivals West Ham as forward becomes Thomas Frank's first major signing

Tottenham have completed the £55million signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham.

The Ghana international has penned a long-term contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and becomes the club's first major signing under new head coach Thomas Frank.

The 24-year-old, who Frank identified as his top target this summer, completed his medical at Spurs ahead of the announcement on Thursday night. He will wear the number 20 next season.

Spurs teased the reveal by posting a picture of a plastic stool - often used by the winger during goal celebrations - before showing off their new signing in a snazzy video cut to a song from Ghanian musician Stonebwoy.
