West Brom manager Tony Pulis tells James McClean he must learn to control his temper

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has warned fiery winger James McClean to stay out of trouble after the Irishman escaped further punishment from the FA over a mass melee.

Albion and Watford were charged with failing to control their players after players and staff from both clubs were involved in a shoving match near the end of West Brom's 3-1 win last weekend.

McClean, whose challenge on Roberto Pereyra sparked the confrontation that saw the Watford man sent off, was not punished beyond the yellow card he received on the field.

Head coach Pulis, though, has told the 27-year-old to watch his step after team-mates dragged him away from the incident to avoid further trouble.
